Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Sales Cloud

We run our entire business on the Salesforce platform, and that includes Salesforce Sales Cloud, specifically for Leads, Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities. We run our weekly sales pipeline calls from a Salesforce Dashboard. We use the standard lead conversion process. We are a consulting company, and use a custom built quoting tool to build resource plans and connect them with standard opportunities.

Pros

  • Analytics
  • User Interface
  • Search

Cons

  • Overly complex - too many clicks sometimes.
  • Lead conversion / defaults have not been updated since launch. Could be re-thought.
  • We saw the ROI nearly immediately
  • Improved productivity
  • Higher sales revenue
Salesforce Sales Cloud is incredibly scalable. It can work as a standard CRM - Account model, but is extensible through use of automation like Salesforce Flow, Apex Code, Lighting web components, and open APIs. While integration and code can be complex, most clients can build the system and toolset that suits their business needs.
Salesforce Sales Cloud is fully featured and is truly a platform solution vs Hubspot and Pipedrive that are very single use focused around CRM. NetSuite is legacy and has outdated user interfaces and experiences.
